Travis Roy and Maine Governor John Baldacci listen to Dr. Don Wojchowski, Maine Medical Center Research Institute (MMCRI) Stem Cell Program Director discuss the program's ongoing research. Governor Baldacci announced a 50% increase in biomedical funding in the state of Maine on September 20, 2006, with a goal to reach $1 billion in private and public annual funding by 2010. Travis Roy was the featured speaker at the Governor's press conference at MMCRI.
